About This Project

This project was not developed by me and is included in my portfolio strictly as a historical reference and industry example. Metin2 ItemShop is a dedicated eCommerce-style platform created specifically for Metin2 private servers. The system focuses on selling virtual items and Dragon Coins through a simple and stable management interface. The platform has been widely adopted by numerous private Metin2 communities due to its lightweight architecture, reliability and straightforward administration tools. The public area presents item categories, item listings and detailed product information, while authenticated users can purchase virtual items using Dragon Coins. Administrative functionality includes category management, item management, Dragon Coin package configuration and payment gateway administration. The platform also includes multilingual support and integrated PayPal payment processing, allowing players to purchase Dragon Coins which can later be exchanged for in-game items. Although relatively compact compared to larger gaming platforms, the project demonstrates an effective implementation of a specialized digital goods marketplace tailored specifically for the Metin2 ecosystem.
